Leading Life in Community
UPCOMING LifeGROUP TRAINING | 10/24, 11/7, 11/14
Our God is a God of community. He exists in it. Because we have been created by Him, we too hunger for community. Community with God and with fellow believers. One of the best avenues to build this Christian community is small groups or life groups. Doing life together in a group builds strong communities where God answers prayer, people care for one another and disciples are built.
Leading a LifeGroup can be challenging and rewarding. To answer the challenge and reap the reward, Gayton is offering LifeGroup leadership training. The training will be held at The Dinner Table on the following Wednesdays: Oct.24, Nov.7 and Nov.14. You can have dinner and activities for kids are available. The Dinner Table starts at 5:30 pm. Our training will begin at 6 pm and end by 8 pm. There are three sessions:
Session 1- The vision and philosophy of LifeGroups
Session 2- Group leadership and group dynamics
Sessions 3- Caring for individuals in the group and leadership development
The training will be led by Pastor Karl Nockengost. Karl has led small group ministries and trained small group leaders for the past twenty-five years.
