LOTTIE MOON POST OFFICE

The Lottie Moon Post Office will be available beginning Dec. 1 upstairs near the Community Room. You are encouraged to drop off your Christmas cards for each other in the mailbox, then give what you would have spent on postage to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is an annual offering collected by the International Mission Board to support international missions. Please make checks payable Gayton Baptist Church with Lottie Moon in the memo or choose "Lottie Moon" if using e-giving.

The Missions Council is collecting new toys for the annual Highland Park Christmas Store sponsored by the Northside Outreach Center (NOC). See the link to the list below or pick up a list on the Welcome Desk. The collection will run until Sunday, Nov. 28. The collection bins will be in the Missions Center upstairs and by the Welcome Desk near the gym.

Care Ministries/Kids Ministry Angel Trees

Want to bless someone less fortunate in our community? Adopt a Care Ministries angel. Angel trees are located outside of both worship centers. Simply select an angel(s) and return your angel and gift under the trees by Sunday, December 12. Wrapping is not required. Please be sure your angel is attached to your gift.  


Family Christmas Tree



The Voices of Gayton Choir will be joining other area churches to present "Festival of Christmas". This will be a joyful celebration of the season through music with world-renown church music composer Mary McDonald. There will be two performances: one on Saturday, December 18 and the other on Sunday, December 19, both at 6:00pm. Doors will open at 5:30pm. This event is free to the public but space is limited so reserve your general admission ticket by clicking here.


Gayton Kids Ministry will be presenting "Jingle Jam: Light Show," a Christmas experience for children and their parents, on Thursday, December 16, from 5 to 6 pm.


Parents are asked to stay with their children and engage in this event. 


Christmas Parties

  • Middle School Christmas Party: December 19, 2021, 4 - 5:30 pm at the Billingsleys *Youth leaders will provide drinks and the main course. 6th graders bring desserts, 7th graders bring appetizers, 8th graders bring sides to share. Bring a wrapped Secret Santa gift (under $15) if you'd like to participate in our gift exchange. 


  • High School Christmas Party: December 19, 2021, 6 - 7:30 at the Billingsleys *Youth leaders will provide drinks and the main course. 12th graders bring desserts, 11- 10th graders bring appetizers, 9th graders bring sides to share. Bring a wrapped Secret Santa gift (under $15) if you'd like to participate in our gift exchange.
