View the plans and info for our lead pastor interim period

We are in the process of forming the Senior Pastor Task Group to find and identify our new Lead Pastor. We believe God will reveal to us and the future Lead Pastor who this will be. Please see the update from the Deacons below.

After prayerful and careful consideration, the SLC has offered and David Washburn has accepted the call to be our Interim Preacher during this time of transition. Many of you may remember David from his time serving wonderfully in this same capacity four years ago. David, we're excited to have you with us once again! We will provide more info about David soon.

Additional Pulpit Coverage*

September will be a bit of a "reunion" month as we welcome some leaders from Gayton's past as well as a new face. That will include Darrell Boggs, Phil Faig, Michael Gunter, and John Hershman (former Pastor of WEAG). We're also excited to have Karl Enters preaching several Sundays over October and November. Karl inspired and challenged us recently through his sermon on July 12, and we're anticipating that continuing as God lays his words on Karl’s heart.

In absence of a Senior/Lead Pastor, Jeff Lindquist has accepted the role of Lead Administrative Person for all of staff. His title remains Executive and Worship Arts Pastor. He's filled this role since earlier this month and is doing a wonderful job.
