Annette McMahan, Director of The SPACE Afterschool & Quest Summer Camp

What do you do at Gayton?

I am the director of The SPACE Afterschool and Quest Summer Camp as well as a KidsMin volunteer.

When did you first come to Gayton and/or when did you join the staff?

My family has been at Gayton since 2010. I started in my role as Quest director in July 2017.

Where were you before coming to Gayton? 

I taught Kindergarten for 7 years and then completed a children's ministry certification.

Tell us a little about your family and/or pets.

My husband Greg and I have been married since 1990, and we have three daughters, Caitlyn, Jordann and Larissa.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at Gayton?

I love to be outside hiking and exploring God's creation, playing cards and board games and reading historical fiction.

What is one of your favorite things? 

My favorite author in Lynn Austin.
