Afterwards, from 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM, Young Adults (ages 18-35) are welcome to meet upstairs in the Fireplace Lounge for an Afterglow gathering of community, scripture encouragement, worship!

Sept. 27: Taco Dinner

Sign up & invite friends!

The Deacons will be providing tacos for dinner. A donation basket will be available during dinner for anyone who would like to contribute toward the cost of the meal.

We are asking that anyone planning on coming to please sign up every week by Monday at 5:00 PM to let us know if you are coming to dinner so we can get a headcount and make sure we have enough food. However, don't let the sign up keep you from inviting friends - we always try to make extra for more guests!

5:50–6:50 PM:
  • Prayer group “Conversing with your Best Friend” (Youth Lounge) - Led by Melody Fowler: As your best Friend, God longs to hear all that is in your heart, every day. He loves you as you are and understands you. Join us as we see what the Bible says about prayer, and as we share prayer requests and pray however you feel led. God cherishes it all.
  • MomCo - a group for Moms (Community Room)  – Led by Stacy Blizzard / Katie Sledd: MomCo empowers moms of all ages to grow as mothers, women and leaders, through support and belonging, rooted in faith.
  • The Gospel of John (Room 214) - Led by Stephanie Flanders & Tom Burgess: Join us for an introductory study of the Gospel of John, discussing this account of Jesus’s life and teachings, diving into themes of belief and what it means to really know and follow Jesus. 
  • Nehemiah (Room 220) – Led by Mark Ratliff: We will read through the book of Nehemiah, discuss the scripture in its context and consider its relevance for followers of Jesus today.
  • Ephesians (Room 224) - Led by Hillary Billingsley: We will study the book of Ephesians to explore who we are in Christ, how God’s grace transforms our lives, and how we are called to live in unity, love, and faith as a part of Jesus’ Church.
  • Men’s group “Reclaiming Manhood” - (Room 222) - Led by Rev. Bryon LePere: All men and youth guys are invited to come learn how the worldly ideas of the “manosphere” manifests, and see how the Bible teaches a different and true model of what it means to be a Godly man in our homes, church, work and community.
