Janet

I was born and raised in Burlington, N.C. and later, during my high school years, moved with my family to Richmond. I am a graduate of Longwood University and spent my early years in sales. I met my husband, Buz, after college while volunteering with a community service group. After we were married I spent a number of years in bank operations as an officer and manager of customer service in the installment and commercial loan division. We have two kids, GL and Pate, and they are in the early stages of doing life as adults.

Gayton has played a huge role in helping me develop and deepen my relationship with Christ. Almost twenty years ago a friend invited me to attend a women’s Bible study with her. The community of believers at Gayton helped me begin to grow my relationship with Christ through studying His Word, and continues to encourage me to this day. I love working for the church! I would welcome a call or an email to help answer any questions about using our wonderful facility.
