The Annual Spirit of Baseball 2024 will be held on April 27 at Fonticello Park in Richmond. This baseball camp introduces Jesus to Richmond’s inner city children while providing a day of baseball instruction, games, and of course, hot dogs and chips!

This will be the 11th Spirit of Baseball Camp led by Gayton Baptist Church and volunteers are needed. Coaches, managers, front desk coordinators, and food prep represent the areas needed. You do not need to be a baseball expert to help! Just be ready to show Christ’s love to a group of kids!

The Camp typically runs from 8:30am till 4:00pm—questions may be directed to Larry Belcher, 804-441-0351. Larry will also be available to answer questions after Church on March 10 and 17. Since we are working with children, all adult volunteers will need to file a background check with GBC.
