Women's Ministry Event

Laurie Short is a speaker, an author, and a part of the teaching team at Oceanhills Covenant Church and Peninsula Covenant Church, both in California. She has spoken to thousands of people at conferences, colleges, and churches around the country, and her most recent adventure is becoming the visionary and co-founder of SheGrows -- a cross-generational women's conference to equip and promote mentoring relationships.

Laurie is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary and the author of When Changing Nothing Changes Everything and Finding Faith in the Dark, as well as fourteen books for youth and youth workers.

Laurie has been in ministry for thirty years and has served on staff at four churches. She lives in Santa Barbara with her husband, Jere, and stepson, Jordan.
