Hello, I'm Amy!
I’m an Army brat who’s called Virginia home for more than 30 years. I’ve spent the last two decades in ministry, with nearly a decade in journalism and communications mixed in along the way.
As Gayton’s Church Administrator, I help keep the behind-the-scenes pieces moving—supporting our staff and ministries, working on policies, and heading up our communications. Occasionally, I even get to escape the office and sing with the Worship Team on Sundays!
I’m currently working toward my Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy at Garrett–Evangelical Theological Seminary—so if you see my face buried in a book, you’ll know why! I do most of my studying in my office, but I’m always up for a study excursion to a local coffee shop, restaurant, or library.
When I’m not working or studying, you might catch me at the movies, solving crime games with my roommates, or spoiling our five cats—including my kitten, Sir Pawl McCatney, who has yet to contribute his fair share of the rent.
More than anything, I love getting to serve alongside the people of Gayton, and I’m grateful to have a small part in all God is doing here. I can’t wait to see what comes next!
